India poised to meet Germany’s
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Germany’s Foreign Affairs Minister Annalena Baerbock exchanged documents in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at Hyderabad House, New Delhi, during the signing of agreements between India and Germany on Friday, October 25, 2024.India poised to meet Germany’s demand for skilled workers.
Highlighting India-Germany cooperation, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock noted the potential for mutual benefit, saying, “Young, educated Indians are eager to enter the job market, while Germany has a high demand for skilled workers. This can create a ‘win-win-win’ situation for both countries and young people.” Baerbock made these remarks while interacting with German language students at the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan in New Delhi earlier in the day.
