Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, brings Kartik Aaryan back as Rooh Baba, alongside Vidya Balan reprising her role as the iconic Manjulika. According to trade analyst Nishit Shaw, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been making waves in pre-sales, selling an impressive 85,000 tickets across national chains, just slightly ahead of Singham Again, which has sold 82,000 tickets. Though Singham Again was expected to pull a comfortable lead due to its commercial appeal, the competition remains neck-and-neck, showcasing an unexpected trend among audiences.
Interestingly, while both films are attracting huge numbers, they are still far from the recent record set by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which saw a 336% higher advance booking rate. Nonetheless, this Diwali clash is shaping up to be one of the biggest Bollywood box office battles of the year. Fans are eagerly waiting to see who will emerge victorious in this highly anticipated cinematic face-off.
