Israel’s Air Strikes:
The Gaza Government Media Office reports that 84 Palestinians, including over 50 children, were killed in two Israeli air strikes on residential buildings in northern Gaza. The attacks have been described as “brutal massacres.”
The United States is sending more military resources to the Middle East, including navy ships, jet fighters, and long-range bombers.
Aid groups say the third phase of a delayed mass polio vaccination drive is set to restart in Gaza. The campaign was postponed due to ongoing Israeli attacks and mass displacement in northern Gaza, which has been under military siege for nearly a month.
Since October 7, 2023, at least 43,259 Palestinians have been killed and 101,827 wounded in Gaza, while about 1,139 people were killed in Israel during Hamas-led attacks, with more than 200 taken captive.
In Lebanon, at least 2,897 people have been killed and 13,150 wounded due to Israeli attacks since the conflict began, with 30 people killed in the past 24 hours, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
